Ultraviolet together with the Springfield Area Arts Council

took 2nd Place for our

All-American Float in the 2009

IL State Fair Parade last summer!!!

Ultraviolet played a medley of an All-American songlist while traveling down the Parade route 'in costume' during last-year's IL State Fair Parade... their medley consisted of songs such as ... We're an American Band, Rockin' in the Free World, R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A., and Rockin' in' America!! The costumes were as follows: Suzie Stephens as Wonder Woman, Marc Waterman as Uncle Sam, Jon Gentry as Abe Lincoln, and Darren Darr as The Statue of Liberty, with Brad Stephens (Suzie's husband) as Captain America and S.A.A.C.'s Kimberly Magowan as Miss America!! Lots of fun!!!

S.A.A.C. members, as well as, Family members, walked down the Parade route handing out candy and beads... : )
