About Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet began in May of 2003 with Suzie Stephens' desire to be the Lead Vocalist of her own Band that would be performing at her Birthday party in December of that year!! : )
Suzie found the musicians she needed to form Ultraviolet, through other local musicians, became Band Manager, and Performed as Lead Vocalist of Ultraviolet at her Birthday Party that year!! That was seven years ago now, and Ultraviolet has remained a Popular Springfield area Rock Band!!
Ultraviolet continues to Perform for Local County Fairs, the Budweiser Tent at the IL State Fair (multiple years), Homecomings, Charity Events/Benefits, Festivals and Various other Events, and as well as, performing the local Bar scene!!!
Ultraviolet has had a change of musicians while going into their fifth year, from the 'Original' Ultraviolet members of Suzie Stephens as Lead Vocalist, Jud Barnes as Lead Guitar/Keyboards/Vocals, Steve Bosie on Bass Guitar/Back-up Vocals, and Oakie Morris on Drums...
...to the 'New' Ultraviolet members of Suzie Stephens as Lead Vocalist, Marc Waterman as Lead Guitar/Back-up Vocals, Jon Gentry on Bass Guitar/Vocals, and Darren Barr on Drums!!
